Mz. Fishe and a Virtual Book Launch This Month on "The Noshing with Nina Show"
As I write this, the editing facilities at MNN are still closed. But that did not stop INFEMNITY Productions and The Noshing with Nina Show from producing a show for the month of May. Since the official book launch for Practicing for Love: A Memoir* had to be postponed, we decided to produce a virtual book launch for broadcast. As we were filming the reading in our home, Mittens Rachmaninoff decided to make his television broadcast debut, and asked to say "Hello" to our television audience.
After the reading, the audience will be treated to an interview and live performance by singer/songwriter Mz. Fishe (AKA Adrienne Fishe), that had been taped in the studio last season. Raised in New York City, Mz. Fishe began singing in front of audiences when she was 7 years old. By the time she was 11, she knew she wanted to be a performer. Some early experiences during her musical journey have included being the 3rd runner up in Hal Jacksons Talented Teen Contest and a 3X winner in Star Search. In the early nineties, she began singing and performing with a popular Atlanta based band but as her spirit and aspirations grew and changed, she decided to leave the band and set out on her own. Mz. Fishe has shared the stage with Patti Labelle, James Brown, DeLaSoul, The Barkays, Mick Jagger, Diane Reeves, The Temptations, WAR, DeeLite, The Village People, TLC, MCLyte and Billy Preston just to name a few. She has also performed in Europe, Japan, China, the Caribbean, Atlanta and New York. Mz. Fishe, toured with the national touring cast of the Broadway smash hit RENT as "Joanne Jefferson," and toured with the Broadway 10th Anniversary World tour.
